HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Dreams do come true! So for as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be a sailor of some sort for halloween, and because of my tactful planning every year, I always managed to miss out on the good sailor costumes. I figured this year was going to be the same. However my roommate and I managed to pick up costumes the day before the halloween Frat party that we were invited to! (Frats are pretty fun!)

My roommate was a boxer! Here are snippets of her outfit:

So one of my friends on our floor is in a frat (ATO) and one of his roommates in also pledging to that same frat this year, so my friends and I got invites and it was super fun. Their party are apparently super /exclusive/ but I could see why! The decorations were awesome and the music was really good! I didn't get any photos really (too busy enjoying the night!) but I do have this pixelated snapchat photo that I saved before sending hahaha!

Today (Actual Halloween) I anonymously received this cute package of sweets! 

Both adorable and creepy, hahaha!

October

With October coming to an end, I thought it was time to post my monthly favorites!

1. Clothes: This month I got a lot of lovely pieces to add to my wardrobe, ranging from my newest pink Zara playsuit, to my soft, warm turtle neck from H&M. And whats a proper 'Spooktober' without a cute costume?
2. Musical Artist: This month definitely goes to Miley! I love her, and her album is absolutely amazing. People called her mental, for swinging around foam fingers and twerking all over everything, but she went out there and became the most talked about musician, and got her album to number one, then went back to taking cute selfies with her puppy! Who looks like the silly one now? hahaha
3. Food: The ideal college diet during midterms is obviously Cinnamon Toast Crunch and macaroni! And I'm probably going to turn into a laffy taffy at the rate I'm scarfing them down! Thank god they're nearly done!
4. Make Up: My god to lipstick has definitely changed to my Mac Matte 'Viva Glam' lipstick. It's perfect and I get so many compliments when I wear it, and it's super sophisticated! I got the matching lip gloss to it, as well as Mac's 'Brick' lip liner to wear with it. I have yet to purchase my YSL touché éclat or my flower bomb perfume, but when I tried both out, they were perfect, I can't wait to purchase them!
5. Shoes: I've been wearing my adonis a lot this month, what with fall here and winter steadily approaching and I totally remembered how in love with them I am. My best friend also bought the lovely miu miu loafers this past month and I obsess over them from afar!
6. Person: Louis 'God Damn' Tomlinson. I'm positively in love with this man. It came out of nowhere, and I'm a completely harry girl, so I like stress over this louis love, but I honestly can't help it, when he's got all that stumble and floppy hair, and 'i'm like OW, never thought it'd hurt so bad'.

Ghouls, Ghost and Festive Clothes

With spooky holidays drawing near, shriek in this halloween with some festive-wear!

Topshop has been this halloween's go to store for both creepy and creative pieces this october. Here's how I'd style some of my favorite pieces from them!

ROTC meets (Cadet?) Devi

So my roommate, who is a member of Air Force ROTC, recently had a 'Dining Out' event this past week for her branch of ROTC, and I was lucky enough to be her guest to the dinner!

It was a lovely experience, and I got to meet so many people both low and high ranked (quite intimidating actually) as well as enjoy the service, make lots of toast, eat yummy food, and see them play the 'Grog Bowl' Game (basically listening to people make really bad rhymes and watching them have to drink a questionable concoction out of a toilet bowl if their rhyme isn't very clever) hahaha!

The best part of the night was definitely being able to experience and see a side of my roommate that I don't get to see a a lot !

I believe this is a photo of the 400s (seniors) in the detachment, some were at the event and I had the pleasure of meeting those that were.

If you couldn't already tell, every member of the detachment is absolutely GORGEOUS. And well.. I do like a man in uniform ;)

I've been trying to put off writing about this band for the longest, but I can't help myself anymore, so everyone meet:

The Cinema

The reasons for wanting to put off writing about them is because they're virtually non-existent, like physically impossible to find any information out on them, because there simply isn't any to be found. Don't even get me started on the fact that there are no videos at all of them singing... or doing anything for that matter. Despite all that, I'm obsessed with their Album "My Blood is Full of Airplanes" and theres apparently another album in the works so hopefully good things, and news will come from it!

Their sound is kind of Indie/Pop, and their sound is good. My favorites from the album are "Banker", "The Wolf" and "Picasso":

Meet your newest #RefBabe! If it wasn't a bit obvious, I recreated a post/outfit from my style idol Danielle Bernstein. My Reformation sweatshirt came in the post yesterday, and I couldn't wait to wear it. Two of my favorite things in an outfit, tartan and kate moss with some pizza slices! I'm off to a halloween party tonight, so until next time! 

Leap into Leopard

Trends have a crazy way of popping up out of nowhere, which is definitely similar to the jungle cats we all know and love. One of those trends happens to be the one frowned upon, now desired leopard print. Currently all the rave, you're basically cheating yourself if you haven't gotten your hands on some printed pieces yet!

I especially like how these street stylers took their leopard prints and wore them:

Anyone who is anyone knows about these sisters, and if you're just crawling out of your decade long nap under a rock, then meet:

Haim

Three badass sisters from California taking over the alternative-indie world. There music has something for everyone, and which such different personalities, each girl brings something awesome to the band! I had first heard about them earlier this year, and even got the opportunity to see them perform at Governors Ball this past summer. My love and interest for them only grew more, along side Nick Grimshaw's fixation with the girl group.

In tribute to last week's artist, check out their wicked cover of 'Wrecking Ball' in the BBC radio lounge last month:

So whats you're thought on the band's sound? Any new fans? Listened to any of there singles yet. I'm a fan of 'Falling' it's so amazing live!

Turtleneck H&M | Jeans Topshop | Boots KG by Kurt Geiger | Clutch Forever 21

It's back to black for me! With grey, rainy skies in the morning and windy afternoons, my outfit seemed quite fitting. Following a night out and sleepover with a friend and my roommate, we caught a late breakfast at Funk N' Waffles (So Delish!!) and spent a quiet day cleaning. I was super excited to wear my KG Tamara boots that came in the post yesterday (Thanks Siena & Katrina!) and I teamed them with my new H&M turtleneck, which I'm currently obsessing over. This outfit made for a great way to stay warm while out.
