Suburban Grunge

Been shooting for a project, and overall for updating my portfolio. Called for a lazy day grungey look, in a flannel and hole-y tank top. Stumbled upon this tiny suburban neighborhood that was so out of place that I had to come back and take some shots of my roommate here. Some of the outtakes are below.

Girl Crush // Hailey Baldwin

In a long line of successful and famous Baldwins, it'd be easy enough to fall to the backdrops and become the child or sibling that just... doesn't do anything. It's clear to see the lazy gene skipped NYC babe, Hailey Baldwin.

The renowned NY socialite doesn't slow down for anyone, jetting from place to place, doing shoots with magazines here and there all the while keeping up with her friends, and staying true to her voice and views on her personal tumblr blog.

She seems levelheaded, keeps her image clean, and goes after her dreams of modeling quite inspiringly,  putting her as one of my top 5 socialites around. I suggest you pop her name into google and check the city native out.

Easily one of my current girl crushes.

Show Your Stripes

The cold mornings and hot afternoon calls for a very confused student body here on campus. Nonetheless, we've got to retain our causal yet collected looks. Stripes have become my everything, these past 3 weeks, and I've always wanted something similar to the Acne distressed denim jacket. I've also been trying to get a bunch of wears out of my boots before the snow comes and they get put away for the year. Threw them all together for this long day of classes.

A NY State Affair

One of my first assignments of the semester called for a trip over to the New York State Fair. The trucker caps, tattered flannels and tribal band tattoos clearly marked the start of NYFW here upstate. Ciara and I of course had to take the Brits to experience America at it's finest.
