Sporty Chic

Spring and summer coming means spending more time outdoors voluntarily! I know for me, it means more bike rides and lounging about in the quad or park. It's the perfect time to take up some sport or activity to pass the time (or traffic) in style.

Goodbye Spring Break !(?)

Goodbye Spring Break! Or better yet, Spring Broke, because I managed the spend the little that I'd saved in two weeks on food, clothes and transportation in just 7 measly days! That being said, they were some of the funnest days I've had in the past month, and I'm so sad to see them go :(

Anywhere here's a recap of my lovely spring break:

Friday + Saturday:
Friday was easily the worstttttt day of the entire week, as I spent up to 12 hours traveling on a trip that should only take 4-5 and to make matters worst, I seem to have an affinity to getting stuck seated next to the sole person complaining the entirety of the train ride. *Le Sigh* I of course spent most of Saturday sleeping in and rejuvenating myself, so that I'd be prepared for the mayhem and havoc that I'd wreak in the following days.

Sunday + Monday:
Sunday started off bright and early (and warm!!!!) with a concert to see Drowners with Celine and Nicole. They were performing for kids and the concert was probably the cutest thing I'd witnessed this entire year!

Hung about Williamsburg for the day, had amazing food from a restaurant I can't remember the name of, and took too many photos.

Ended the night grabbing dinner at our fave place~~

Monday involved running errands, and then shopping with Kat, and of course we spent hours in Sephora.

Tuesday:
Proved to be uneventful, did my break homework (sort of, whoops!)

Wednesday + Thursday + Friday:
On Wednesday, I went shopping with Christina!! Which meant lots of time spent in soho. Then we grabbed dinner at one of my favorite mac&cheese places (S'mac) and proceeded to send terrible terrible photos of each other to Kaitlyn, Jill and Ari (none of which can be disclosed...)

Thursday consisted of a missed opportunity to see Joy (i'm sorry Joy!) and actually doing the homework I was meant to do 2 days before.

Friday was spent mostly out. Slept in late, woke up and got ready for the day, went to the city to do some last minute make up shopping, before heading to Times Square to meet up with Josephine. We checked off Shake Shack from my cravings list and ended up spending more time than we planned. After that, I took her to the bar to meet up with Nicole, Kim and Celine, (plus more friends), and as I wait to use the bathroom, guess who bloody walks out (???) fcking Jake Bugg. Obviously all composure was kept (until I went in the bathroom) but he's so lovely, and cute, and he walked out and then went back and held the door open for me and when I said thank you he smiled, so clearly he's a proper gent!

Then we hung about and I ended up having to leave at midnight to go pack, but not before my glorious 'post no bill' selfie!

All in all, a wonderful spring break was had, and the weather was decent, and I cannot waitttttt for summer to arrive!

Tell me about how you spent your spring break, or how you're planning to (so I can live vicariously through ya) in the comments below!

BULLIES

With Spring Break drawing to an end, I spent my last day in NYC doing a bit of makeup shopping, grabbing a bite at Shake Shack with Josephine, before heading down to meet up with Nicole and Celine! I couldn't help myself, and broke out another neglected varsity style bomber jacket to keep me warm in the breezy weather!

Bomber Jacket ??? | Beanie Brother's clothing line | Scarf Urban Outfitters | Jeans America Apparel | Shoes T.U.K. Creepers | Bag Mulberry

Check out my next post to see a recap of how I spent my Spring Break, along with photos and a mini haul video of the things I got over that week!

Stepping Into Spring

So far my spring break has proven (against everyone's belief) to be a fairly warm one! I'm so happy!!! The weather happened to be in the 50s today, so I ditched the hat and scarf, and traded in the parka and boots for my vintage bomber jacket (from 2nd grade haha) and my long-lusted-for Chanel espadrilles.

Spent the afternoon finishing some work, hanging with my mum and brother, before heading to the city to see the lovely Katrina (and spend endless amounts in Sephora) ((Whoops?))
Bomber Jacket My Old Softball Varsity Jacket | Shirt H&M | Leggings Victoria's Secret | Espadrilles Chanel | Flannel Ralph Lauren | Bag Mulberry

I hope the warm weather is to stay! Makes me never want to leave NYC again. (Syra-what??) I don't think I can handle going back to below zero temps!

Well, until the next time, (and until the spring break haul video), enjoy the spring weather!

The Big Bag Theory?

With the change of a new job comes the time to start saving for a new bag! However there's constantly a war raging within my mind when it comes to deciding which bag I should be saving up for. There's the initial question of: What size bag do I want? Clutches are just too small, wouldn't end up using it often (next!) and some totes are just too massive, could never imagine filling it regularly (buh bye!) so a moderate size it is. Then of course the ever important choice of color: Black bags match my cold black heart, but pastels are to die for. These we're just some of the many questions that I took into consideration when deciding on my dream bag of 2014. So I turned to Polyvore to help me decide on which bag I wanted most, by pairing it with cute outfits!

Zara Mini City Bag:

Céline Nano Luggage Tote:

Alexander Wang Rockie/Rocco:

Chanel (Mini) Purse:

Givenchy Mini Pandora Bag:
