Happy Birthday to Me!

So now surprise here, it's my birthday today, and so I thought I'd put up the photos/outfit from my birthday dinner on my last night in NYC with some of my best friends.

For dinner and desert we went to the highly esteemed Sugar Factory. A go-to for celebrities ranging from Rupert Grint and Drake, to Katy Perry and the Jenner sisters. Everything was beyond delicious, and the staff are not only gorgeous but attentive and utterly helpful. Dessert was a treat all in itself, and the cheesecake was to die for! Definitely recommend the White Gummy Goblet if you're going!

I love the meat packing district during the day, but it's especially stunning at night time, cobbled stones and lights strung!

We ended the night meeting up with another close friend of mine who couldn't make it to dinner, and went out to a Karaoke bar, which was insane fun and we dance around like proper idiots and I wouldn't have wanted the night to end any other way!

Off to celebrate my actually birthday (today) with some friends from here at Uni. Until next time!

Another "better late than never" monthly favorites post (typically will post them late if the last day in a month is some type of holiday, soz!)

But alas...

1. One of my favorite pieces received this Christmas was my faux Acne Studio sweater, which I absolutely love, it's so oversized and comfy I definitely fell asleep in it a lot over my break!
2. MUSIC THIS MONTH GOES TO THE BABE BABE BAES FROM THE 1975!!!! (L-R: Ross, Matty, George and Adam) I love love love them soooo much, and I finally got to see them in concert this December and it was one of the best concerts this year (and i've seen 1D, Kendrick, Kanye and Macklemore this year). Sooo good live, and Matty is the flirtiest person I have ever met in my entire 18 years of existence.

3. Water is the only thing I drink now, if it's not a special occasion or a once-in-a-while night in with my girls, so it's definitely on this months faves
4. As one blogger on tumblr would say: SHOOOOOOOEEEEEEES. 2/3 are pairs I got this past Christmas which I still obsess over of course. As you can see, my fondness for chanel has hit new peaks, which can be blamed on my #6 fave of the month.
5. Getting raunchy with Givenchy (on my lips!) Fab lipstick with the fab naked 3 palette that I got as a gift from my brother's girlfriend!!
6. BEHOLD PRINCESS KYLIE JENNER: If you want to see great style done right, then look to Kylie. She can make the simplest outfit look fab and doesn't care if you want her to smile or not. She made me fall in love with those chanel boots and now I cry myself to sleep at night :'O
