Meet your newest #RefBabe! If it wasn't a bit obvious, I recreated a post/outfit from my style idol Danielle Bernstein. My Reformation sweatshirt came in the post yesterday, and I couldn't wait to wear it. Two of my favorite things in an outfit, tartan and kate moss with some pizza slices! I'm off to a halloween party tonight, so until next time! 

teenage mutant ninja turtle(necks)?

So it appears turtlenecks are making a fight out of their dark closets and back onto the streets of high fashion. Like many of this years 'must-have' items (dungarees, jelly sandals, pinafore dresses, etc) the desire for turtlenecks seems to have caught wind! I myself haven't worn one since kindergarten, but I'm finding myself falling in love with this childhood enemy.

I don't know if I'll buy one, but I'm really loving the way these bloggers have styled their turtlenecks:

Fleeting Florals

Day #2 back in NYC! With fall and winter rapidly approaching, I needed to wear this playsuit sans tights at least once! It's one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe currently, and I can't get enough of it. The playsuit it quite airy and can make any person feel elegant. When I popped into Topshop, the workers kept saying how nice it looked on me! I spent the day in lower Manhattan with one of my best friends, Katrina, hanging out and catching up. I don't think I'm ready to leave!!

When out later that night for a surprise birthday dinner for my mum and ended up spending half that night out in an ambulance (just my luck). Check back later for a post on my dinner outfit, and check out the tumblr for photos I not included here!

Tasteful Tartan

If you haven't already snatched up a series of Tartan patterned items for this fall, then you're behind the times, and I suggest you do so soon, before they're all gone! I've become an absolute die hard fan of the print and I'm trying to get my hand on every cute item I can find!

My tartan love started sometime last month, but my mind was blown when Danielle Bernstein styled my favorite tartan piece, the Zara mini skirt, in one of her post:

Like how absolutely gorgeous is this ensemble?! I'm simply dying to recreate it when my the post arrives with my mail!

If you're looking to get on this trend then Zara is definitely your one stop destination. They've been quite on point with the items they've released and I kind of want it all.
