Not Just Another Christmas Party

I recently got to spend a lovely night in lower Manhattan with several of my friends for a christmas party/get-together. The event, while at first was weirdly edging between intimate and too formal, finally balanced out, when the majority of friends had arrived and everyones drinks were poured. The guest of honor was Alexa (Chung), who showcased a lot of her personal wish list, a long with her newly released book "IT".

I was positively obsessed with the tone of the entire party. The decorations were gorgeous, with pieces like flowers, speckled stones, candles and glitter laid out.

We spent a lot of the evening switching between checking out cute clothes and mingling with other guest. Even got a couple outfit photos to share in a post later, because the outfits all night were spot on!

All of the items that Alexa picked out were quite darling and dainty and really cute in general. Ranging from little owl knick-knacks to some weirdly dispense table mat. She was lovely enough to sign a copy of 'IT' for me as well.

All in all, the christmas party was a (very cute and very pink) success, and I had heaps of fun chatting with the people I did get the opportunity to talk with!
